The use of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) names such as Nexiq, Caterpillar, Cummins, Ford, GM, Autel, etc., is strictly for nominative purposes—to inform the customer which vehicle systems our hardware tools are compatible with. Diagnostic World is not an authorized distributor for these brands unless specifically stated.
3. Hardware vs. Software
Unless otherwise stated in a specific product listing, Diagnostic World sells Diagnostic Hardware Interfaces only.

The end-user is solely responsible for obtaining legal, licensed software to use with the hardware purchased from our store.
4. Nature of Products
Diagnostic World specializes in high-quality aftermarket interfaces. These tools are engineered to meet the communication protocols (such as J1939, J1708, CAN, OBD-II) required for vehicle diagnostics. While these tools perform similar functions to OEM tools, they are aftermarket versions designed to offer value to independent mechanics and fleet owners.
5. Limitation of Liability
Diagnostic World is not liable for any damage to vehicles, engines, or electronic control units (ECUs) resulting from the misuse of diagnostic tools or the use of incompatible software. We recommend that all diagnostic work be performed by qualified technicians.
